Low Class Hostel Facilities Lower The Standards Of Hindusthan College Of Engineering And Technology

I was a student of HindusthanCollege of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore of the Mechanical Department of 2015 – 2019 batch. During my course, I have always felt that the college management is not undertaking any approach to support students from other states. The management does not consider that the students from other states will have difficulty in every aspect as they are coming to a totally new space. Hostel facilities and accommodation etc are also very poor.

Another low factor of this college that I have felt is that they have unfriendly staff. It seems like the staff of the college reflects the attitude of the management itself, because they seem to be impolite to the students and deals in a very rough way. We used to not feel like asking them any help or asking anything at all because they don’t give proper answer to our queries and impolitely.

The placement activities in the college are average. Some companies come for placements and few students get selected. Most of the students depend on off-campus drives for getting jobs. Because of the placement cell, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology goes on without much issues in placements, but altogether not satisfactory.

The infrastructure of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology is also average without much issues but also not of high-quality amenities. The college also claims that they have an anti-drug campus but the students run a risk of facing drugs as the campus is not totally drug free.

Hostel facilities of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology are also not much good. The food is poor and students have to manage with what they offer, and this mostly affects the students from other states. Overall, an average engineering college where you can complete your graduation. Expecting more from this college like I did when I took admission is simply a waste of time.
